Durfee appointed general counsel

Scott Durfee has been named the new general counsel for the Harris County District Attorney's Office, effective Monday, Nov. 5.

According to the district attorney's office, Durfee served as chief of the general litigation division for 17 years.

"Scott is respected in this county and throughout Texas as an expert in government law," said Harris County District Attorney Patricia Lykos in a press release. "He is an eloquent advocate for our office and a wise counselor."
