The event will include a dinner beginning at 7:30 p.m., an awards ceremony, a silent auction and dance. The purpose of the program is to recognize seven men and women who give hospitality its meaning in the industry, according to a press release. A surprise Lifetime Achievement Award will also be given.
The event cost is $125 per ticket or $1,250 for a table of ten.
Candidates for the awards are nominated by peers and employers, and winners are chosen by a panel of hospitality industry leaders from outside Southeast Texas.
Awards will be given in several divisions, including allied partners, food and beverage, guest services, Houston Spirit, operations, sales and marketing, general manager of the year and an outstanding lodging student award.
Industry representatives from throughout the Greater Houston area and the state will be present for the ceremony. Proceeds from the program will go to the HLAGH.
