Jones to take on Yates in high school girls volleyball action

Jones High School will battle Yates in girls Volleyball action Friday, Sept. 14.

The match is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. at Jones.

Jones has an 1-2 record on the season and is 1-2 in district play. Sept. 11, Jones beat Furr, 3-1, as Tanecia Kent totaled two kills.

Yates is 3-0 on the year and 2-0 in district play. Sept. 11, the Mighty Lions beat Scarborough in three sets.
