HACIUSA hosts celebration of African leadership

Houston African Community International (HACIUSA) will host the All African Nationals Awards Gala to celebrate African leaderships from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. May 5 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at The Windsor.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Mayor Frank D. Jackson. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at www.haciusa.org. All attendees are required to wear formal or traditional attire.

The hotel is located at 2712 Southwest Freeway in Houston.
