Candlelighters to hold Lights of Courage Luncheon April 19

The Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance's annual Lights of Courage Luncheon will begin at 10 a.m. April 19 at the River Oaks Country Club.

The luncheon, which is the Candlelighters' largest annual fundraiser, honors young people who are "lights of courage" in their battle with cancer.

Shopping and mimosas will be held from 10-11:30 a.m., followed by the luncheon. The guest speaker will be actor G.W. Bailey.

Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance provides emotional, educational and practical support to children with cancer and their families.

Candlelighters operates from 8323 Southwest Freeway, No. 435, in Houston.
