River Oaks physician named in wrongful death suit
A River Oaks physician is being sued over claims the drugs he prescribed caused the death of one of his patients.
Kevin Tilley and Mark Tilley, on behalf of the deceased Joanne Tilley, filed a wrongful death lawsuit on March 19 in Harris County District Court against River Oaks physician Joel Joselevitz.
Kevin and Mark say Joanne died as a result of unnecessary pain medicine prescribed to her by Joselevitz. According to the brief, the toxicity of the medication killed her.
The Tilleys are seeking damages and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Woodlands attorney Tommy Hastings.
