River Oaks Kroger named in trip-and-fall suit
Kroger is being sued after a customer says he tore his tendon while shopping at the store's River Oaks location.
Alex Borkowski filed a lawsuit on Jan. 13 in Harris County District Court against Kroger Texas and Kroger, citing negligence.
Borkowski says on March 1, he injured his shoulder while shopping at Kroger, located at 1938 W. Gray in River Oaks. According to the brief, he tripped over a half-empty box of prepackaged deli meats left in an aisle and landed on the small shopping basket he carried.
The accident caused the tendon in his shoulder to tear, the suit alleges.
Borkowski is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Scot Dollinger.
