The Center plans annual ice cream social fundraiser
published Apr. 27, 2011The ninth annual "Ice Cream Sunday" carnival to benefit The Center will be held on Sunday, May 1, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Autrey Park. The family carnival will feature rides, a rock wall, moonwalk, petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, clowns and more. There will be hotdogs and cookies, and the grand finale will be the ice cream sundae bar with multiple toppings. Proceeds from this event will benefit The Center, a private not-for-profit agency that provides residential, vocational and day services to promote individual choice, personal growth and independence for persons with developmental disabilities. Ticket prices begin at $40, which include food, drinks and unlimited games and rides. For tickets online, visit here. Autrey Park is located on the grounds of The Center at 3550 W. Dallas.
